Really nice face cream with botanicals and peptides
I must not be up to speed with trends, because I didn’t even know that C–beauty (ie China) was even a term, much less that it represents a global presence alongside K-beauty, the US, and European products. We have here one of these C-beauty skincare products, from a company called CA-CAREL. There is very little info that I find on the company, but it does have its own website (printed on the jar), and it specializes in cutting-edge peptide products. Besides the peptides, there are ingredients in the cream that are emollients like shea butter and squalene, and humectants like hyaluronic acid, which are all great ingredients that act together for pulling in and retaining moisture. I can say that this cream does indeed make my skin feel hydrated, and it stays that way for the entire day. And speaking of hyaluronic acid, while looking into Chinese skincare, I learned that China played a major role in the development of high quality, ethically sourced hyaluronic acid, making it a global leader in its supply. It’s indeed a fabulous hydrator, and as I mentioned earlier, it’s in this product.The cream has a very nice, buttery consistency – no doubt from the shea – and it has a very subtle scent. I can’t put my finger on what the scent is, but I can say it is not from any artificial fragrance.As I have only used this product for a short time, I cannot comment on any long-term, noticeable results; but I’m looking forward to seeing how it works for me over the next month or two… I think its peptide formula sounds very promising.

Nice thick face cream
I like a nice thick face cream in the evening after applying my retinoid treatment. It helps minimize any dryness or irritation. This works nicely. It’s a thick cream, but it’s absorbed well and doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy. I can be sensitive to cosmetic product fragrances, but I find this scent to be mild and I don’t notice any reactions to it.I’m pretty happy with the mix of ingredients in this face cream. It’s what I used to look for across multiple products, but all in one… notably the ceramides, niacinamide, sodium hyaluronate (similar to hyaluronic acid though it absorbs deeper into the skin), shea butter, and more. It’s just a nice, thick, nourishing face cream. I haven’t been using it long, but I love it so far.

Subtle yet hydrating
Nice moisturizer to end my evening skincare routine. It’s heavier than my day moisturizer but not gloopy and feeling like it will irritate my skin. It’s heavier than absorbs well and its smooth texture slows a little to go a long way. Excellent value considering the high quality ingredients and the glow it has as soon as I apply it on my face. Very effective night moisturizer

I’ve been using this CA CAREL firming cream for a while now and I’m actually really happy with it. One of the best things is how fast it absorbs; I don’t have to sit around waiting forever to put my makeup on because it doesn’t leave any sticky residue. I was also worried about the scent, but it’s actually totally fine and not off-putting or heavy at all. Most importantly, it hasn’t irritated my rosacea or caused any flare-ups, which is a huge win for my sensitive skin. It just makes my face feel hydrated and smooth.

The CA CAREL Peptides Collagen Firming Cream feels rich and nourishing without being heavy on the skin. It absorbs fast and leaves my face feeling hydrated. I like its advanced peptide complex and ceramides. I also like it makes skin more refreshed. Overall, it’s a good daily moisturizer!
